What if you could be even more confident than you were before your spouse’s infidelity?
Like you, I am an LDS woman, doing my best and trying to become a little better each day. I’m a wife, mom to 11 (6 biological, 5 bonus kids), and grandma to 2.
I’m also a certified life coach, and am trained to help women sort out the confusion, grief, fear, doubt and frustration that comes when infidelity (as well as other forms of betrayal) occur in their marriage. My life is so great now, but it hasn’t always been this way.
Not many years back I was married to a different man than I am now.
And I wondered what happened to my life. There was deceit upon deceit — years of lying, hiding and wondering what was actually true about my marriage. After 16 years and things really escalating, I decided to end my marriage.
This was a terrifying decision as my first husband was a successful lawyer and I had always been a stay-at-home mom. But I knew it was what I needed to do, so I moved forward.
After the divorce had been finalized for 7 months, my first husband was killed in a car accident. It was another heavy, devastating blow to myself and my kids as we had to learn to lose him all over again.
When I was right in the middle of the hardest parts of leaving my marriage, I learned that there are many, many women in the same situation I was in. I remember having the desire planted in me to get through the process so I could help others through their own trials.
Fast forward a few years. I was remarried to a widower with 5 new kids, living in a new state, and attending college to become a therapist. On the outside, my life looked completely changed, but inside I was still suffering from events from the past, wondering if I could ever really trust myself and others again.
One day I was introduced to some of the teachings of The Life Coach School and everything changed.
I dove right into everything I could find, and ultimately decided to get certified as a Life Coach because I knew the tools were working for me and would work for others, too.
I was able to let go of painful stories I carried around from my past marriage, and gained a new confidence in myself that I was totally lovable just as I am. I understood that the reason I was still suffering was because of my brain – it was keeping me stuck in the past and just needed some new programming!
I absolutely love my work, and find so much joy and satisfaction in helping my clients learn how to use their own minds as their most valuable asset in healing their lives.
Understanding their own minds and applying the tools I teach allows my clients to release themselves from suffering, guilt, doubt and fear.
I help my clients discover for themselves what is best for them from a place of love and self-confidence.
For some, it is leaving their marriages, and for some, it is staying in their marriages and creating something better than they ever had before.
There is nothing more satisfying to me than seeing my clients have breakthroughs where they catch a glimpse, perhaps for the first time in a long time, of their potential for happiness and peace.
It’s like the sun has come back out for them and they can see a brand new, beautiful future ahead.
